Development Requirements

To develop Windows applications using Vermont Views for Windows, you will need

1. An IBM-PC or compatible running Microsoft's Windows 95/98 or Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000.
   
   
2. One of the following compilers:
   • Microsoft Visual C/C++ (MSVC) compiler version 4.0 or later.
     
     
   • Borland C compiler version 4.5 or later.
     
     
   • Watcom C compiler version 11.0 or later.

3. The Vermont Views for Windows software.

Notes:Vermont Views for Windows includes the production and development libraries for these compiler versions with 4-byte structure alignment. Your compiler package usually includes the Win32 Programmer's Reference as a help file (Win32.hlp). It is strongly recommended that you become familiar with Windows programming and the Windows API.
