Upgrading Existing Vermont Views Applications

Overview

In addition to developing new GUI applications, you can use Vermont Views for Windows to port existing Vermont Views applications developed under DOS, UNIX or VMS. These applications must be using Vermont Views 4.05. To take advantage of the new features, follow these steps:

1. Modify the source code for your application.
   
   
2. Port your DOS, UNIX or VMS application.
   
   
3. Enable colors.
   
   
4. Modify the fonts associated with logical attributes.
   
   
5. Add images.
   
   
6. Resolve changes in behavior.

Note:Step 1 is required. All other steps are optional.
