Most GUI interactions are performed with the mouse. In keeping with Windows GUI, mouse support is automatically enabled for all Vermont Views for Windows applications.

The following are additional enhancements to Vermont Views for Windows to support the mouse: |
| If VERIFYQUIT or VERIFYEXIT is turned on for a form, Vermont Views for Windows will pop-up a dialog box with the verify message and pushbuttons. Character mode Vermont Views puts a message on the status line and requires a key press. |
| FULL_WNP includes minimize, maximize and close buttons. |
