A choice list is a list of choices that is attached to a data field. The user can select an item from the choice list to copy into the data field. Choice lists save the user from having to explicitly type in data. They are also useful for restricting the field entry to known values.
Choice lists can be attached to standard data field types and to tickertape memo fields. A choice list cannot be attached to a multi-line memo field.
