You can configure the menu system at three levels: the menu field level, the menu form level, and the environment level. Settings at the field level affect only the menu field that they are set for. Settings at the menu form level affect only the menu form that they are set for. Settings at the menu environment level affect all menu forms in your application.
All options are initially set to defaults by the system. You can change the defaults for any menu at any point in your program. In some cases, you can change the defaults used by the system.
