A virtual menu is a menu whose fields cover an area larger than the window in which it is displayed. In effect, a scrollable menu is created. The Vermont Views system automatically handles the user interface for virtual menus by scrolling the menu fields so that the currently highlighted menu field is always displayed within the window.
