Changing Key Assignments

The key definition fields are primarily used to reconfigure the keyboard where possible. Table 58.6 lists the keycodes used in all keytables as provided in Vermont Views and the mnemonics for the fields that define them. In the default vvtermcap files, we have mapped keys available in PCDOS and not available on terminal keyboards to available terminal keys or key combinations. Check your vvtermcap file for the mappings for your terminal.

You can change the default key assignments by simply changing the control sequence used for the keycode in question. See Table 58.6 to determine the mnemonics for the keycodes that you want to change the key assignments for.
