Pushbuttons appear as a text string in the window. You can optionally place a box around the string. Selecting a pushbutton initiates an action or calls a function, allowing you to have the equivalent of a menu field on your data form.
Unlike other field types, pushbuttons do not have an associated data variable or a picture string. The user cannot enter data into a pushbutton.
