As you are developing your application, you may modify and save your Designer forms many times. This process can create wasted space in your Designer library and can be eliminated by packing the library.
You can pack the library by using the Vermont Views System Administrator Utility. You can choose between two methods of packing the library. The first method, packing the library for backup, recovers all wasted space in the library. The second method, packing the library for distribution, adds an extra step. In addition to recovering all wasted space, the System Administrator also removes all the documentation records (form, menu, field, and window documentation) from the library. This results in the smallest possible Designer library file.
Caution: Once you remove the documentation records from the library by packing for distribution, they cannot be recovered.
