If you are posting one of the predefined Vermont Views events, you need to know what information to pass in the wmsg and lmsg parameters in your evnt_post() call. The Miscellaneous Tables section in the Function Reference contains a table that lists all Vermont Views events, private as well as public, and the values they expect for wmsg and lmsg. You should be aware that private Vermont Views functions are undocumented and are written primarily for use by the Vermont Views processing functions, such as fm_proc() and cl_proc(). If you post an internal Vermont Views event, the event function may behave slightly differently than you expect.
