Special Data Form Objects

Vermont Views provides special data form objects that extend and enhance data entry capabilities:

• Scrollable regions allow the user to enter and scroll many rows of the same type of information, such as quantity/part/price information for an invoice.
  
  
• Memos, multiple-line or single-line (tickertape) windows in which the user can enter and edit text.
  
  
• Choice lists allow the user to transfer a value to a data entry field from a scrollable list. By default, a choice list is displayed only during data entry for the field to which the choice list is attached. Multiple selection choice lists allow the user to select more than one choice from a choice list.
  
  
• List boxes allow the user to scroll through and make a single selection from a list of choices. Unlike a choice list, a list box is displayed at all times and is not attached to a data entry field.
