The terminals supported in VVTERMCAP are limited to those terminals we have in-house. However, we may already have the entry on our BBS under the VV Terminal Termcap Area. If you need a termcap entry for a terminal which is not in the vvtermcap file, check the BBS first. To find out whether there is a termcap file for your terminal type, go to the Files menu and list the available files in the VV Terminal Term Cap Area. If you don't find an entry for your terminal type, then you'll need to create the entry yourself. UNIX customers can use the /usr/lib/terminfo or /etc/termcap files for templates. Specific mnemonics required by Vermont Views can be found in the Vermont Views User's Guide.
Or, you might ask other users for an entry by leaving a message in the VV conference on the VCS BBS or on BIX (join vcs.windows). Allow time for users to login and to respond.
Note: If you have developed a useful termcap entry, please submit it to us for inclusion on our BBS.
